The original Cybulski Correctional Institution opened November 3, 1993 as a program-intensive male Level 2 facility. Willard and Cybulski were consolidated in 1997, and Willard later closed. The current Cybulski center focuses on recovery, education, vocational services, family reunification, faith-based work, community service, positive support networks, health wellness, veterans support, and a DUI Unit.

The sender does not have to be on the visiting list, but DOC says not to include inmate letters with trust-fund deposits and to allow at least 10 working days for mailed funds to post.
